This is the Hummer H1 X3, it’s three times bigger than the factory Hummer H1. It stands at 6.6 meters tall, 14 meters long and 6 meters wide (21.6 x 46 x 19.6 feet), and is a truly monstrous and impressive sight. And it was briefly on display while on his way to the OffRoad History Museum in Al Madam, United Arab Emirates.

This gigantic Hummer belongs to Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, better known as Rainbow Sheikh and one of the biggest and most eccentric car collectors in the world. The guy is a billionaire and apparently since money is not an issue he has been spending a great deal on rare cars and weird custom builds. He owns the museum where the Hummer is now on display for visitors, along with three others in the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.

The Rainbow Sheikh has been in the news for his bizarre collection of cars for decades, even appearing in an episode of Top Gear (see video below). He also holds several Guinness World Records for his car collection, including titles for Largest Collection of 4×4 Vehicles, Largest Motorized Car Model, and World’s Largest SUV. The Hummer isn’t Guinness certified (yet), but he says it’s the largest moving Hummer in existence, and there’s no point in doubting him.

The vehicle is powered by four diesel engines and features a still unfinished interior, including two separate levels and a full bathroom and kitchen setup. The following Instagram video shows the Hummer H1 X3’s challenging journey to the museum and also offers a brief look inside.

Considering the owner is the same man who turned his behemoth Dodge Power Wagon (another record, but a slower vehicle) into a genuine luxury home on wheels, it’s not far-fetched to imagine the Hummer will look like this too once it’s built. the interior decorations are complete. Offroading and Overlanding mean different things to people like Rainbow Sheikh.
