Maison Mumm champagne to fly on Axiom

A champagne designed specifically for the weightless environment of outer space has found its way into Earth orbit.

Maison Mumm, one of the world's major champagne manufacturers, has teamed with Axiom Space, a human spaceflight firm.

Mumm Cordon Rouge Stellar, the "first champagne bottle and taste experience built for space travel," is available now.

Beginning in 2023, the bubbly will fly on Axiom crewed missions(opens in new tab) and will eventually be offered on the company's future commercial space station.

"Axiom's collaboration with Mumm and the Mumm Cordon Rouge Stellar realises that in order to transport mankind to space, we must bring more than simply beings.
