Kamala Harris calls  diversify US space

The White House has established a pilot training initiative to increase the number of underrepresented groups in the space sector.

A new White House project will promote space diversity this fall.

Earlier this month, the White House established a pilot programme with a number of space companies to enhance training in the space sector.

Blue Origin, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman are leading the charge. (Other participants include, among others, SpaceX, Amazon, and Rocket Lab.)

These pilot programmes will assist thousands of traditionally underrepresented individuals in the space industry in learning new skills and gaining access to new opportunities.
