the taliban are going to ban tik tok Y publication applications in Afghanistan within the next 3 months, the Telecommunications Ministry announced on Saturday.

The Ministry of Telecommunications, in a meeting with representatives of the security sector and a representative of the Sharia law enforcement administration, decided to ban TikTok and Pubg apps in Afghanistan within a period of 90 days.

According to the decision made at the meeting, TikTok should be banned within a month from now and Pubg should be banned within the next 90 days.

The decision has been shared with Internet and telecommunications service providers across the country to implement it within the announced schedule.

Afghanistan is the third country after Pakistan and India to ban Pubg, a popular gaming app.

Pubg is a battlefield online game app with most of the players around the world among the kids and teens.

Studies and surveys indicated that the majority of TikToks users are girls and the majority of Pubg users are boys.

The use of virtual private network (VPN) applications that will break any Internet rules will be a real challenge for the implementation of this decision. VPNs break any internet rules and allow users to browse prohibited links and websites.
